Free assessment
A first inquiry can help you organize questions about medical weight loss. Miami Weight Loss is an information and lead-generation website. Contacting the site does not provide a clinical assessment, confirm eligibility or issue a prescription.
What it asks
Start with what you want help with. You might be considering medication, looking for ongoing support or trying to understand why a previous plan was difficult to maintain. The medical weight loss program guide explains the kinds of services to ask a provider about. A clear question makes it easier to judge whether a later appointment addresses your needs.
For a clinical visit, prepare a current medicine list, diagnosed conditions and details of previous treatment. Our weight loss assessment preparation page describes information that may be useful. BMI requirements can help frame the conversation, but a number alone cannot establish safety or suitability. Keep detailed health records for an appropriate clinical intake process with the provider you choose.
Before sharing information, establish who operates the service, who will receive it and what any follow-up involves. If an appointment is offered, ask who conducts it and whether it includes a medical evaluation. The physician-supervised weight loss guide covers questions about clinical responsibility. Do not assume that a website contact form is being reviewed by a clinician or that it creates a patient relationship.
After you send it
Rough numbers are fine at this stage. Completeness on the medication list matters more than precision on the weight.
Before anyone calls you. That means the first conversation starts from your history rather than from scratch.
Either a consultation is worth booking, or it is not, or something specific needs checking first.
Nothing is booked automatically and nothing is charged. The assessment is information, not a commitment.
What it is not
An introductory conversation is a chance to ask about the route to care and any charges that might come later. Request separate information about the initial medical visit, tests, follow-up and prescriptions. The weight loss program cost and weight loss medication cost pages explain why these items need clear definitions. If another organization contacts you, verify its identity, service terms and fees before agreeing to an appointment or payment. A free inquiry does not mean later clinical services are free.
Medical eligibility remains a separate decision. Ask the provider how it evaluates GLP-1 contraindications, what happens if medication is unsuitable and whether another type of support is available. Insurance is separate again: a clinical recommendation does not establish weight loss insurance coverage. You can use this first step to make a short list of unanswered questions without committing to a particular drug. A useful next step is one whose purpose, responsible provider and potential cost you understand.

Common questions
The difference between contacting an information website and receiving clinical care.
Half expected a card field at the end. There was not one, and the call back actually referenced what I had written.
Filled it in on a Sunday evening, had an answer Monday. No pressure to book anything.
Told me something needed checking with my GP before we went further. Slower, but the right order.
Did the check, decided to wait six months, and nobody chased me. Booked later on my own terms.
